Pokemon Gold/Silver are best and I'm 36. Nothing beats being able to go back to Kanto and fight Red. It's an amazing experience that they just haven't been able to replicate which only works because I loved the first 3 so much(I had Red, my older brother Blue, and my younger brother Yellow). We even had a policy on tradebacks to ensure no one ran off with someone's Gengar or Alakazam.

if you want to not have a swimming animation, then don't set your game in an age of discovery sailor conquistador-ey surrounded by water type deal, I love the argument where people go "oh sailors in those days couldn't typically swim" I'm like yeah they also couldn't walk neck deep along the bottom of a river like they had concrete boots on... there's places where you can walk into the water to the point where it goes over your characters head, pretty sure they couldn't do that either??
