incredible footwork. this is the first video I find about switching stances. and he is the first boxer that I've heard of that uses this technique regularly.

There are quite a few fighters who regularly switch stance. Some more successful than others. Marvin Hagler and Terence Crawford probably being the two best at it. Josh Taylor just needs to polish it up, could be really effective for him.

Looks very comfortable switching stance. Not always effective for him but he does it smoothly.

Great video as always. Still learning is Taylor, only had 11 pro fights. He’s a player in 140 division. I’m a fan but unsure of the switching, he’s comfortable doing it but I think he’s more vulnerable in orthodox stance. Lots of skills though.

Yeah occasionally gets caught lingering on the inside when in orthodox. He's so good with his in-out movement, needs to make sure he doesn't get stuck in. A harder puncher could punish him for it. Really nitpicking though, this Taylor kid has got skills for days.

+Russ James have you seen much of Regis Prograis/Jose Carlos Ramirez at 140 to compare them Russ ? Curious as to how you think Taylor will do at 140 post Bud Crawford ?

Both have big fights coming up, we'll see how they do. 140 is wide open right now. Wouldn't mind seeing Taylor take on the winner of Imam/Ramirez or Prograis/Postol, but I really think he'll have one or two matches before they give him a major title shot. Soto, Yigit, then a title shot would be nice.

1=Jab... 2=Straight... 3=Hook... 4=Rear Hook... 5=Lead Uppercut... 6=Rear Uppercut "B" is body So "6b" is a rear uppercut to the body "3-4b" is a lead hook to the head then a rear hook to the body.
