In the name of God I pray that he gives me strength to triumph over the demons that are in my mind. Amen 🙏

This was the first song I ever sang in public for the church we were going to at the time. I got brave and asked the pastor if I could perform it before the service and he said yes. When we went to church that Sunday we had standing room only and a friend told me that they heard I was going to sing that train song as he put it. I was scared to death to sing it but got a standing applause for my performance. Quite a few people asked to be baptized because of that song. I feel that the Lord used me for that purpose that day and I'm glad I did.

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. If he’s placed his trust in Christ, then he is saved. The state someone is in when they die doesn’t determine their destination, at least from the way I understand it. AMEN Jesus blessed you when you turned from the Devil. He does good to those who turn from bad to good. May he continue to enrich you body your soul your mind and your Spirit to be in tuned with those who carry the spirit of the devil within. Satan is a strong force rooted from past generations upon this earth. He has always been since the beginning to the end but understand since the crucification of Christ Jesus do not think that it was not made clear to him exactly where his place will be. This is why I speak today to anyone to beware as his evil deception is here but we remain true to our Father and creator. God. And God will be and always has been the greater of the two. You must realize it is everyone's choice of free will so God sits upon his thrown at the highest point in Paradise to allow all to turn from evil to put there money where there mouth is. You tell the Devil to shut it up and suck it up cause Jesus A Coming!🙏 I say this with all do respect to know first hand. Just an idea: when Jesus was asked what the most important commandment was, he said, "love the lord your god with all might, soul, and mind." (Paraphrasing here) He also said to love your neighbor as yourself. But since the Ten Commandments are part of the covenant between god and the Jews (which was broken when Jesus died to create a new covenant) does that not mean that we don't have to follow it? I believe it's the same with eating bugs and pig. Peter was given a vision in which God said to "not call his creations unclean." Of course, he was directly referring to the Gentiles later on, but does that also not mean that, in the literal sense, we do not have to follow the Old Testament's laws? Because it clearly states in Deuteronomy that they weren't supposed to eat bugs or pig. Just a thought I've had for a while. You're welcome to give input, just don't be an A-hole about it and scream blasphemy or anything like that.

I know some reasons why people choose not to believe and there are many I'm sure. I would rather believe and be wrong than not believe and suffer the consequences. I don't ever try to push my beliefs onto others, they believe what they wanna believe and its not my place to convince them otherwise. Its not that I don't want to understand, because actually I have a good idea, that was more of a rhetorical question than anything.

I was involved in a terrible car accident on Wednesday March the 28th 2024 at around 11:10 p.m. my two passenger side tires left the road and put me in a terrible spin and spun me into a fence and a fence post came through the windshield and nicked my wrist and when my car rolled it broke in half and filleted my arm open like a can opener almost lost my right arm in the car accident. I have one more physical therapy session before I can finally go back to work and finally get my life back on track. If it wasn't for the song I probably would be in the state of depression that I would never be able to get out of and would probably end up taking my own life but for the grace of God that I'm still here and I think my lucky star is everyday that Jesus was with me that night because he's the only explanation of why I'm still alive! Now that I look back on that night I realized how insanely calm I was during that whole mess. I thank Jesus Christ that I'm still here! One more thing about that night. If I would have had a passenger that passenger would have died that night because there was a second fence post that came through the windshield and it would have been paid the person sitting in the passenger seat! That night was a real test between good and evil because whatever was in my car that night was pure evil it was as dark as the night is and it smelled like smoldering sulfur and Ash like it came from hell! When I went into the spin I just remember saying to myself Lord please help me and whatever the foul smell was in my car immediately got replaced by the smell of a floral arrangement! Alright then I knew I was in the presence of the Lord! At that point in time I was resigned to whatever fate was meant for me! Folks please pray for me that I can get my life back! I haven't drove since that night!

3:22 That hit me...a friend of mine and I were both at the ends of our ropes. We were both severely depressed, and battling self hatred with feelings of hopelessness. My friend took his own life. He was a staunch, prideful atheist. Out of the two of us being in the same boat, I was the one that came back. I did cling to the Lord, and I've got such inner peace now! I've grown so much since then, and I'm so happy to be alive! I do miss that friend dearly, and I miss sharing music with him. Thank God, I didn't board the long, black train, let alone be hit by it.

@garrettelliott2565 . I think you are correct. As we are propelled toward the End Times, the veil separating the Earthly from the spiritual realm is getting thinner. Jesus is still Lord and Our Heavenly Father is still the Sovereign King of the Universe. God is still in control. Satan and his minions still fear the Name Jesus. Satan's minions may tempt and torment us, but they can not harm us believers without God's approval.

I was in the same position one day probably about 10 years ago or so in Heber City, Utah. I heard this song on KTMP and at the time, I believe they were an AM-only station with a classic country format. If they had already activated an FM signal at 94.5 MHz, I was surely unaware of it. Anyway, it was on 1340 kHz and this song came on. Now, this was in the very earliest days of smartphones and long before I had one, let alone one with unlimited data, so I had no way of looking it up until I got home, but I fell in love with it instantly.

I remember contemplating suicide fifteen years ago when this song came on the radio. The line in the song where it goes, "There's an engineer on that long black train. Making you wonder if the ride is worth the pain," I know that's what that line says, but to me when I hear it, I hear in my head "Making you wonder if YOUR WALK is worth the pain. Over 2000 years ago, Satan tried talking Jesus out of walking to Golgatha for us because He knew that by His sacrifice it would free us all. We all have our own "Walk" that we need to endure in life. Meaning that we all have a destiny that God has called us for. And some have longer walks than others. Whether that's a path to a career change, or whatever it is. And in life, we're going to hear literal voices in the form of concerned friends or family or figurative voices in our head coming from an origin of fear that's going to try to talk us out of our destiny. And some of the reasons that those voices give might make sense. But that's OK because Jesus already overcame the voices of fear. Don't stop loving your friends and family, but ignore the voices of fear and just keep walking...

My dad had this song played at his funeral. Even after his death, he made sure others heard about the saving power of Jesus Christ!

Don't you dare go riding on that long black train. It'll be more painful than the pain you might feel now. Bless everyone here.

Are you against my religious beliefs? Or do you just hate the fact that I cry so easily over a song?

First time I ever heard this song was October 26, 2009, exactly one month after my mother passed away. I was having yet another restless night, and was flipping through the channels, when I heard this song start to play. And was honestly what got me to start attending church. And they were (and are) the best people I've ever met and had the pleasure of knowing. The second time I heard this song, I was attending a church in a new town, a week after my best friend killed herself. I was a little late getting there but as soon as I walked into the auditorium, they started playing again and those first first few notes struck a familiar cord (pun intended) with me. Almost like God telling me that I was in the right place, and I've found my new place of worship.

Mmm this is exactly the kind of music I need. Strong, serious, and somehow comforting.

Everyone else is sharing their stories so I figured I'd share mine. When I was 9 maybe 10 I was ran over by a tractor from head to toe but somehow survived. I knew there was an angel looking out for me. Since then I lost my father at 17 to cancer and it's two years later and depression set in and here I am still looking to the heavens waiting for my next command. Everyone has a purpose and I believe mine is to make people happy. I will love God to the end of days and nobody will ever change that
