Only took me 42 years to find these guys. I'm from NY too. Now I'm one of the few coloreds in Chico California. Too bad more blacks haven't moved out here to heaven. This is certainly the type of place Dr Martin Luther King Jr meant by the promised land speech at Berkeley just before he died. I can't believe I'd never heard Josh white etc till now. It was accidental on Pandora listening to rev Gary Davis I am the light of the world and then it went into auto play n josh white came up singing hallelu and I had to look at my phone n see who it was rockin my socks..."pure religion"

How could I listen to anything else I love this guy this app rocks... I just want to know how to use the app better but maybe I really don't because I accidentally just keep finding bad ass musician after another I'm in heaven with angles this is awesome

Josh performed at the North Rosedale Park Community Center in Detroit when I lived in the neighborhood. The clarity of his voice, the perfect tune of his guitar, and his fun personality always made for a great show.

Heard Josh White Junior in concert in the early 70’s. He mesmerized the audience.

Love Josh. Have seen him many times over the decades starting with the Peanut Barrel at Michigan State in the 70's.
