This is the first time I heard Josh do this tune but he played Bartender's Blues and Dream of Me and then autographed my guitar that he was playing on. One of the best to hang out with at a festival. Mickey Harris and Aaron McDaris did harmony

Believe it or not, the first time I heard this was on a John Denver album. Heh. That led me to discover John Prine. Was one of the first songs I played on guitar, too. Great version by Josh here.

Now all the coal has been burned, a couple of the units have been turned to natural gas fired units. I think one of the units is still kept for coal but all the coal is hauled in by trucks from the WK parkway to the plant. I have been to Madisonville and seen the picture. I have stood at the Rochester Dam and had John Prine on the car CD player blasting away. What a great song.

absolutely the very best singer to do this song I rewrote some of it to make it Eastern Kentucky because that is were I lived the song and watched as they killed the mountains. I am going on 80 and I hope I can learn this one good enough for someone to ask me to sing it .
