There’s plenty of ghouls out there that love that stuff but they just can’t afford it, if this was a normal house at normal price and the same history was bestowed upon it then it would be snapped up in no time. I was reading about Trent Reznor’s first night in the old property and his anecdotes sound freaky as hell. I reckon I could attempt to live here though all things considered.

I don't care how much money you have, this place will take ALL of your time maintaining and up keeping. Every water feature, planter bed, etc. will need constant attention. Seems amazing until you settle in. These Mc mansions hardly ever keep people living in them more than several years. ALWAYS turning over. And lastly, how cozy would you feel knowing what horrors happened there. Dark dwellings.

The original home that used to sit on that property was Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski's home, 10050 Cielo Drive. That home was totally torn down and property stripped clean and now this ugly monstrosity sits on it. Although I understand why the original home was torn down, I think the new home would have looked better had it been a little similar to what was there. I was in real estate 30 years and this current monstrosity of a home is, IMO, an eyesore from what the property was originally intended. A more rustic home would suit this site in Benedict Canyon much better!!!
@georgialee6755 Жыл бұрын
Yes I liked the original home better except for what happened there. The property was beautiful. The prior owner was Rudy Altobelli - he lived there for years after the murders which would have creeped me out. Tate and Polanski were renting it at the time of the murders

I believe there is a good reason why the original site was bulldozed and everything changed. they don't want its occupants to have memories. way too much history resided in the old home. The last occupant of the original Tate house was industrial rock musician Trent Reznor.

American excess and vulgarity at it's finest. Congratulations to the architect, builder and owner of this absolute monstrosity.
