That means doing the same tasks every single day, improving, and going above and beyond. Simply think, "what is everyone else doing?" Then do the opposite. That means when people quit and say it's all about lucky, keep going and keep improving.

I've just watched some of your content on YT, and I've enjoyed it. I'm about to be made redundant and thought I'd throw my hat in the ring for freelancing. I've had a great deal of success getting results for clients with digital marketing and sales funnels, automation etc, however, when looking at the jobs, they are all fixed price at $10 or less. I can't possibly live off of this, so how can I compete when the budgets are so low?

For almost every skill set on Upwork, there are two types of clients. One of them (who I focus on) wants quality over price. You just have to apply filters so that you don't even see the low priced jobs. And most new freelancers forget the second side of Upwork, which are invite-only jobs (you don't see these in search). I started getting invites as I earned 5 star reviews. Like most great things in life, it just takes a lot of time, discipline, and aggressive patience :)
