Just got back from three days on the South Coast of New South Wales…..have not been there for almost 2 years (thanks to VIC Covid restrictions). Used soft plastics and searching both sand flats and also in tight to structure. Flathead, Trevally, Tailor and Bream. Berkeley Gulp 4 inch Nemisis in camo colour and Berkeley Powerbait 3 inch Minnows in Pearl/Watermelon colour were very effective. Was fishing from a HOBIE Pro Angler 12…..Great to come home and straight into your video. I know I have said it before Josh, but anyone who watches your videos just aren’t getting some great entertainment and their “fishing fix” but they are very educational. Awesome as usual and it seems you are becoming famous….LOL. The way you promote certain gear, lures and plastics, I would expect some of those company’s would want to sponsor you. One day it just may happen. Keep them coming Josh.

Hi mate. Excellent video. Well done. Keep in mind with that amount rain water running into the lake many species of fish will be virtually inches away from the shore waiting for what ever wriggling morsels the run off will bring to them. So have a couple casts well back from the shore so the lure just drops in near the edge of the lake. Never know your luck. Cheers

hey mate great video and fishing, but i have a couple of questions. 1: when hook setting a fish using lures do you set it as soon as you feel the first bit or feel the fish eat before you set the hook. 2: why are you never taking home the amazing fish you catch. but great video and keep up the great work.
@jamesleadbeatter36323 жыл бұрын
Catch an release fishing is growing in popularity. It's a fun and sustainable way to fish.
@joshdfishing3 жыл бұрын
Good questions mate. 1: It depends, for me I run of instinct. As in like some times I strike soon as they hit. And other times I will let them tap it a couple times before striking. I don’t think I just do🤣🤷 2: For me I enjoying fishing for the sport of things. I love the feeling of casting and then hooking and fighting a fish. It’s a lot more rewarding for me to catch and then release the fish to fight another day. That’s unless someone else catches and keeps that fish🤣🤣
