big fan of New Balance deconstructed silhouettes specifically + this version gives the opportunity to get creative w/colorways and collabs. for ex, so many of the 860v2s look similar to me bc there’s only so much you can do w/that shoe

I saw the black pair and i do feel them but i dont really like the Nlock logo, you think i could somehow cut the logo off between the straps to ‘deconstruct’ it even more or is the N glued on aswell?

Not a fan of this color way but really like the sea salt Astro dust version. Love the 1906 silhouette and don’t feel the model is played out yet

I get the over use of deconstruction art , but I love this model and just merely as a fan I’ve been wanting another pair so this new protection packish take coupled by a favorable colorway is more enough reason for me to whip out the credit card, but seriously as much as I love this model , I’m done after this , they can’t possibly improve on it anymore than they have .new balance move on give us something new and fresh , I love runners 90’s theme but now is the time for something out of the box that is dope and practical.

Hey! One question about size as I never had these: do they fit narrow or wide? I have weird flat feet and it’s really easy for me to fuck up the narrow mid part of the shoe. Would upsizing 0,5 be good? I am 10US in Nike. Never had an NB shoe before and really want these

This is the only New Balance to catch my eye and has me waiting for this drop in the next 45mins, July 14 2024. I have a pair of NB I run in occasionally, I choose other shoes over my current running NB. But this shoe... 1906A with a balenciaga type of vibe, I fw it.

I feel like the 1906 is starting to run its course. It's a fine shoe but how many times are they going to switch it up? Pretty soon they're going to run out of letters to put next to the 1906.

They are dope at least something more interesting imo to the original that seems to be getting boring but I think they really could be doing more with the colorways they’re just really underwhelming especially for the price I just would like to see more creative colorways from NB outside of the unattainable collabs

Watched so many 1906 reviews and they all suggest going TTS, but that was too tight and I went up half a size. I am a US 10 TTS with Nike, Adidas and NB 990v6 and 9060 etc, but had to go up half a size with the 1906.

I have the 1906 R in blue silver it s nice but these are like those watches with complications they have open hearts on them ! So it s going to be a pass for me but nice idea !

We've reached oversaturation with the 1906. I have several pairs, but it just seems they are scraping the bottom of the tank at this point. As for the bulbous laces, I have them in a couple GR pairs, seems random which ones they put them in.

I might be getting old, but I prefer a more traditional take, like the newly released silver and blue 1906 (called terrarium something). Also, there's plenty of sales right now, not gonna buy for retail at least in a month (just got a pair of grey v6's for 155€ (oh, god I AM getting old! 😂)

I got the JD exclusive ones. The shoe itself looks fantastic. But that midsole isn’t my favorite tbh. It’s quite a firm ride for New Balance standards. My 880v6 was 100 bucks and is way more comfortable.
