My youngest son was diagnosed with epilepsy a few years ago and I got a few of my DEVO buddies and my brother together to perform a few DEVO songs for the Orange County Epilepsy “Care And Cure” online gala. We filmed it at “Studio City Sound” on 9/3/2020.

This is maybe my favorite DEVO song, and easily one of my top 10 favorite songs ever, and I can't thank you enough for convincing the guys to bring it back. I've been scheming to record my own cover, and as soon as I get comfortable with the drum parts I'm getting after it. The sax solo was a stroke of genius, btw. #PoweredBy Freese

Wow I can't believe I didn't come across this until now, I was in junior high school when this song was big, I think I heard one time Jerry either lived or was from my hometown here where I live in Missouri, by the way great job Mr Freese with Wolfie VH on those Van Halen songs, Hot for Teacher is a workout for sure

Wow...very enjoyable. Thank you. I'll say that the drums are really driving "Whip it" to the max. A lot of depth to that percussion. Very impressive. Jerry can still belt out the vocals and Bob1 sounds true to form, but it seems like another day at the office to him...effortless. Your bro did a great job on the keyboards. That's your bro, right? Overall, a very professional and enjoyable performance. Thank you for your effort and kudos to all of you for helping the kid who was diagnosed with epilepsy. Good things will happen to him ...hopefully soon.
