HUGE BROWN TROUT and Velvet STAGS New Zealand South Island - Nov 2019 - Josh James and Sam Harrison

We head into the New Zealand wilderness to catch a few trophy browns. 12 fish were caught averaging 10 pounds with Sam nailing one that was 11 pounds. Big trophy browns in chrystal clear water.
We also knock over some deer to keep the freezer stocked up with free range meat.

Bigger Browns than I've ever seen but we used to fish on top of the Big Horn Mountains and most the streams are smaller. We also bait cast most the time never learned to fly fish.

With the new koaros that have the storage zipper and dry bag option I can actually fit my rifle in the dry bag and put it in the tubes. Definitely reckon it's worth while if you flipped it. Bet sam could retrofit one pretty easy for you.
