When I first started working (in Manhattan), I was on the D train home (to Brooklyn). It was me, an unsheltered dude, and a Black woman (it was late). After awhile, the woman hollered at the man, “Ypu better not be starting a fire on this train! I see you starting a fire and this is not the place for a fire!”. We both got off at the next stop, but seriously I never felt so safe with an unknown woman. I got a lotta stories about that D train lol… I always wonder if the Vegas diner is still in Brooklyn-they had a divine house-made veg burger. 💜 Alas, I’m a little fish, and that’s too big of a pond so I came back to Mormonville USA… which I regret coming back to this dumpster fire. Catching up on this show while cleaning my house and taking care of my 20-year old kitty in renal failure. Got a lotta 24 hours to fill with noise 💔

I'm only halfway through, but I agree that a person going out in New York City everyday has increased chances of seeing some Oddities. And I also agree that Josh is a magnet for weird. James Acaster has done stories that are maybe a decade old now, but still hilarious. Classic Scrapes was name of all that. British chap. Stories of his mishaps as an younger man.
