Have to say-best meals ever for me is at Golden Steer. 2 reasons. 1. They are really good! 2. Both meals were FREE...I won both times ive been there playing video poker. First time for $160 (four of a kind) and $1,000 (royal flush)...So two free meals at an awesome steak house cant be beat.

It was so good, I had been wanting to go for years, so glad it lived up to my hopes and dreams haha. Next we will need to try out the other Joel Robuchon next door but that is $500 per person, so we will have to save up some for that.

We are 100% MGM so Bavette's is our favorite steak, Sitting at the service bar inside the restaurant at Mayfair is outstanding fun ( ask for Mike), Lago was a super surprise on our last visit, L'Atelier Joel Robuchon outstanding, Prime Steak not so much, Best Friend fantastic, Lunch at Grand Cafe Milano (they have the same menu as LaPizza & La Pasta with great person service)

Bavettes was our first dinner together in Vegas, and I (Josh) have eaten there the most of any steak house in Vegas - so good, hoping to finally do a video there this summer. Prime was disappointing as well a little bit - also preyoutube days. We will need to check out Grand Cafe Milano - Eataly correct?

@@JoshRachael Yes Eataly. I think our favorite Hotel is NoMad, they always give nice upgrades and check-in is very personal. It is so less crazy there. We also love eating in the Bar at one of the corner tables at Primrose. The Englishmen, bar tender is the best. He has been there for 15 plus years, Monte Carlo days. I can't remember his name. But he always recognizes us. We have stayed at: Rio, Caesars, Flamingo, Venetian, Mandalay, Mirage, MGM Grand, Nomad, Aria and Bellagio so far. BTW...We have been follow you both for quit a while. Love your videos There are not any good video's of Bavette's on KZbin except for Dale and Paula. Yours will do well. My hubby and I are going to Vegas in October and I would love to have this tasting menu…but unfortunately my hubby is not a foodie 😢 do we both have to order the tasting menu? Also, do they have filet mignon on the menu?

Oh dang hubby! I wish I could remember but unfortunately I don’t, I believe that one can do the tasting menu and the other can order off the menu but I don’t want to be wrong. We just pulled up the menu from the MGM website and recommend checking there since it seems like it changes seasonally. Really hope you can enjoy it!

@@JoshRachael The main restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 24 course tasting menu is worth $500. I took my friend (Josh Skenes, the chef at Saison, 3 Michelin stars) and he liked it a lot.

Dumb question... If there is a food on the menu that you absolutely hate can you have it replaced with something else? For example, if you just cannot abide the taste of coconut ice cream, then can it be replaced with vanilla?

I do think they would be accommodating, as long as you're not changing like every item. It is all made to order so would think you could ask and get some exchanges.

No doubt. It is truly the best all around meal and experience I can name honestly. Definitely small dishes so if you aren’t a fan of those I would say don’t do it for sure. I think it all depends what you are going for but for me (Josh) I still think it was the best.

It is quite a bit of food over time, but there definitely are some plates that come out making you wonder about the size - definitely a risk involved. I really want to try the big brother restaurant next door but not ready to drop a grand on 2 peoples meals...

This meal and that one are in another league for our food videos honestly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service here better. We loved being able to sit and watch the precision in the food preparation and even interacting with the cooks after the rush. The wait stuff was amazing at explaining everything thing to us and not stuffy in any way. Michael Mina was a bit loud as we were in the middle of the room and we did not feel the waiter was as personable to elevate the experience. The food at both places were stupid good though.

Typically we always have a reservation for Dinners in Vegas and do recommend it. Lunch and Breakfast we may wing it a bit but never dinners, especially since COVID
