@@ahhhhyes True. However, Jory exhibited a LOT more cowardice than any of the others for the time we had with him around. The thief (Who's name escapes me suddenly) at every point was like. "Whatever happens, I want to stop the blight." And not only said it several times, but supported those words with action. The joining ritual? He stepped right up and took that Risk. (Sadly it didn't work out) Jory on the other hand was absolutely terrified from the word go. Suppose you could justify that by his wife being pregnant, and not wanting to miss out on that, but... I would think that someone with something to live for like that would take even more steps to safeguard their coming family than someone with almost literally nothing to lose.

@@vespenegas261 Yea I'll I agree on that in Garrus's defense I'll say that the writes for ME didn't have plain for him however even with two extra games Alistair is far more of a Character. Well modders can do whatever they want to I personally think he is looking for a BF with both a male and female warden especially after Duncan's death. Heck In the Darkspawn Chronicles he kicks Morgan from the camp party you can't do that in the vanilla game you can seek the templars out on her and lose her as a companion until the end of the game. Yet that's not what happened not only did Alistair really mess up with making an army he most likely failed at dethroning and just managed a duel.

Whenever you see textures going "Wild" it is in 90% case memory leek There are few "fixing mods" which are recomended Like one which increase game ram cap to whole 4 GB Even if you don't want to use utility mods like storage acces in camp or ambient movement for your crew in camp (they all stand nearly still outside dialogues) I would realy recomend one which increase amount of party banter (there is a lot of it for many of crew combinations), Plus "Dog whistle" it alows you to sumon Dog using summon slot for ranger while still allowing its party banter and environent interaction (your dog can fetch up to few times per area bringing you some items when you are interacting)

It was a long time ago and after some playthrough he decided to finish the game on his own off-stream, so don't expect him to finish the game in future VODs. Plus, he said he wanted to install these mods and fixes in the previous stream, though I guess he didn't or installed them wrong.

@@EllaKarhu That's my point. I grew up playing those games that padded difficulty. DA:O Just reminds me of 'better days' when it was challenging, but not oppresively so. SUppose I worded the post poorly, I just meant that that in that time period, games were turning to difficulty as fair challenges that you opted into. Instead of the NES and SNES eras, when you generally had only one difficulty. And that difficulty was ball busting.

All of those graphics glitches and memory leaks were fixed years ago. But if the stream is from two years ago it's far too late to tell you to install the mods you need to fix stuff. :)

i have played quite a few hours of dragon age origins (150? 200?) and my game crashed maye like...once. is it bc my pc is pretty old as well? i mean its still running windows 10, but seeing your game crash so many times already, i wonder why that is :O

Finished the game 12-15 times (honestly can't remember). 0 crashes. Though it does require some cleaning on the memory leak every couple of hours. But I suppose it isn't necessarily optimized for modern stuff, especially with a boat load running in the background (video capture and so on).

I think Josh prefers running "blind" I know I do, my first time through a game like this. I do things my way, mistakes and all, and leave the min/maxing guide-dangit playthroughs for when I'm trying to get specific outcomes after doing research. But to each their own, I suppose.

This combined with my many, many playthroughs of this is making me very aware of every little thing missed.

@@gerardmagos3608 That's fair. Everyone has their own gaming style. And as long as you're winning, it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. I'm a more casual gamer in general either way. So min/maxing rarely matters to me. (Last time I did any number crunching, theorycrafting, etc. Was playing Dragon's Dogma for the 40th time a year or two ago. I dug into calculators, leveling guides, etc. etc. And I found it so incredibly tedious (Plus I just hate math in general) I just lost my will to do it again. There may come a day when another game I care about as much as DD comes out, I may do it again. But it takes a LOT of investment on my poor short attention span. :(

@@iamcool544 I mean, fair enough. On normal that's pretty much the steamroll tactic. Which doesn't work on harder difficulties. going into hard makes positioning important. Nightmare makes positioning, abilities, crowd control and a keen tactical sense to succeed at. So yeah. On normal? Just steamroll enemies individually, and you have a good chance at winning. (As long as you're paying attention to the rest of the enemies as well. damn sneaky fireballs!)

Eyes-roll. Already losing interest in watching this playthrough. 1. He's making a mockery of the game by laughing through the Ritual. It's a serious ritual, and he's laughing about it. 2. 15:29 nothing wrong with being tactical, nothing wrong with being smart. Wow, says the guy who didn't spot traps on the floor walking into them. 3. so much BS, and not enough playing. He hasn't done any of the side quests, he cant open any starting locks despite being a rogue, he's just mouthing off of entirely irrelevant things about the other games most of the time, about pokemon, about nintendo, about every other god damn things that has nothing to do with Dragon Age Origin and 3 hours in, and we'll still in the Kolkari Wilds-Ostagar Starting location. With only a few side quests done, he's not picking up loots, he's missing all the missables, and he's BS-ing whenever he can. By the time he finishes this game, it will be 100+ hours in and Part 100+ Boring Stuffs me guessta. Or better yet, he wont even finish the game. 4. Squares projectiles? Audio being bad? Cutscenes crashing? Are you sure it's not just your hardware that's at fault? I have an older i3 laptop and it still plays fine for me all the time. Gush, it's 3 hours in, and he's still at Ostagar. I cant .. I will watch Part 3 and if it's still as bad, I'm unsubscribing. Go back doing your other channel, letsplay arent your forte, it's just boring, unentertaining, a nuisance even. 5. When you were going for Rogue, I had my anticipation up, cause Rogue's one of the best melee classes to play in Dragon Age Origins, even for NIGHTMARE difficulty, but nope, he's on NORMAL and he's going oh. no. we'll just play melee-archer cause it's safer and more tactical to do so. (Eyes-roll). (More tactical he says), as he issues everyone to attack the same way as right-click - attack all - done. Wow... he hasn't figure it out, has he? The game has much more depth than this, he's 3 hours in, and he's BS-ing more than he's actually playing, and he has the gals to say he has the game already figured out. It's an old game after all. Wow. Im flabbergasted.
