I keep coming back to this poem in the face of the bombardment of Gaza. "They are running out of ways to shame our dead. How else to say that they are guilty yet unburied...". As a South African living in the aftermath of apartheid, this poem is so affirming. So so humanizing to the oppressed and killed in the US still, in the DRC, in Palestine and in other parts of the world that the news does not tell us to focus on. Thank you Josh.
