Joshua played a little careless position a few times. Especially towards the end, giving a game to Kaçi. He really should have paid for that. As much as I love Filler he didn’t deserve this match. Kaçi has that 5-9 combo 8 times out of 10, but missed it. Filler is great but it is funny how even when he plays worse than his opponents they don’t clutch and give him major wins. Ahh, just the way she goes boys.

i really don't like those racks. i don't think they should be used unless the conventional racks just can't get the balls to be tight. the templates should be a last resort, imo. either that, or it has to be mandatory that the rack be removed immediately after the break because they sure as hell can affect the roll of the ball and detrimentally affect the leave.

@matchroom It doesn't happen often that the balls hamper removal of the rack, but you could make yourself a simple tool that would mark the position of the "ball position marker" and move obstructions further away from the rack. This way the referee would have less problems like in the last rack when the 7 was on rim.

They've also changed where you can break from, before it was anywhere in the 'kitchen' (behind the line), but now it have to be in the box you see in the kitchen. Basically this makes it much harder to pot a ball on the break, so we will see much less break and runs for 5/6 racks

The accuracy and power control is way harder than clearing the table, and it’s always a pleasure to see the pros getting out of difficult situations with good kicking skills. In game 4 with the score 3-0 filler leading, josh breaks and sinks the 1 ball, he pushes out on the two and kaci makes him shoot the push; he does and makes a legal hit; kaci is shooting at the 2 ball and gently rolls the 2 towards the center of the table anlets the cue ball lockup close to the 7 ball, but no rail is contacted after the 2 was hit and no foul was called; forcing josh to kick at the 2 ball, wwhich he does! But he should have had bih with an easy win; instead kaci goes on to win the game and make the score 3-1! Hard to believe everyone involved missed an obvious no rail foul! Anyway josh still won the race to 9 match! Am i the only person who saw this; the officials need tosee a replay of this , so they understand what a no rail foul is; I think everyone including the commentators had a loss of attention moment at exactly the same time! Difficult to fathom, but, there it is; game 4 kaci playing safety on the 2 ball, no rail, not even close; he got away with one; the shooter knows: if it were golf he’d be penalized for not calling a foul foul on himself; maybe even disqualification or loss of match on the spot! Come on man! What do the rules say let’s put integrity back in the pool hall!!

In the 4th game kaci played a safety shooting the 2 ball and failed to get a rail with any ball, but a foul was not called, kaci went on to win the game and make the score 3-1 in filler’s favor, but josh should have had ball in hand with with an easy path to make the score 4-0 in favor of josh. the foul is obvious, except, apparently, to everyone present at the table! Go watch game 4, filler in the lead 3-0, kaci plays safe on 2 ball, foul no rail, not called, kaci goes on to get first victory!

It's not required that it must be cue ball or object ball. Can be any ball as long as one hit a rail after first contact (7 in this case).

@@mikea5205 The funny thing I see in the comment section of american pool videos is that people always complain if a magic rack is being used or not. In videos where the magic rack is not used, I see complaints saying that “You must use a magic rack otherwise you won’t get a tight rack everytime and getting a golden break is too easy” And then I see videos where a magic rack is being used I see complaints in the comments that say “You shouldn’t use a magic rack it gets in the way of the balls and it’s so annoying that you have to remove it every time after the break”. I guess in the american pool community you just can’t win if you use or not use the magic rack. You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t.
