When she started playing this game I was excited for her to get to this part because, if I know Crystaahl, it's that she's got a soft spot for pretty morally dubious anime boys who are secretly unhinged and perhaps once shot the protagonist. It's a narrow niche but she's owning it.

Ah yes, another morally ambiguous pretty boy that may or may not have shot their (love interest) teammate and then (potentially) died for them afterwards. Somehow this keeps happening on this channel lmfaoooooo Seriously though, Joshua is my favorite character for many of the reasons Akechi is xD But I think the best character in the game by far is Beat. Joshua turn into a literal god when he get levitation, but the game is infinitely easier int his version than the DS version.

@@RexZShadowbut, it’s a necessary sacrifice to make sure the game isn’t trapped on an old system. The dual screens are why many DS games are hard to port. It’s easier to remake them from scratch.

Oh right, the switch version cuts this detail: *coughs.* in the original, Joshua says "what's wrong, Neku?" Before ever asking his name. *This is a key hint. Foreshadowing.* To any new fans truly invested in the unique tale of Twewy, do urselves a favor and get the original DS game. The anime and newer versions leave something to be desired.

Joshua best boy 👏 I was hoping you'd love him and I'm glad you did in the end! Totally understand your fascination with him, he's a very interesting character. As much as I love Square Enix, I wish they would focus more on games like these. TWEWY is such a breath of fresh air and I wish they'd give it more attention. PS: This is more of a fun fact but Joshua calls Neku "Neku-kun" in the Japanese version, which he uses in a very condescending way and underlines his status as a superior being xD This prick ❤

In Solo Remix you need something like yoshimitsu pin or something to stop enemy movement(like the lolita bat the one that shoot out projectile that knock) to use Joshua beam properly my trick was use Lolitta Bat on "side" then whale on Sho with yoshimitsu

So after you beat the game, here a few things you need to do, post-game clear content are the most important. Make sure you get all six pin slots, that is important to have the Darklit Planet pin set, these pins can be used by themselves, but when all six come together, attack power will be tripled. So It is considered the strongest pin set in this entire game, can erase noise easily even on Ultimate difficulty. Make sure you unlock all three fusion levels for each partner as well. All this was to get you prepared for collecting the Secret Reports. They appear after you clear the conditions and get a star for each chapter. These Secret Reports tells a much bigger story than the main game, but it requires you to do things like erasing blue Boss Noises, I seen you already encountered one in the last video, that nine tailed fox which unleashed a purple energy ball at you. Sorry to say, you need to beat him for the Secret Report. Tip for Pork City, the pin brand limitations is annoying, but you could also use Tin Pin pins and the pins you got at the beginning of the game, any Unbranded pins will work on all floors of Pork City. Also, make sure you defeat the Dissonance Reaper(purple) at Day 7 of each partner's week, defeating all three will unlock A New Day, a new story which will connect directly to NEO TWEWY, the sequel to this game.

I actually had a similar theory that Neku was somehow playing the game alive, because he's so much more powerful than the other players. Joshua, we are told, is stronger than all the other players cuz he's still technically alive. And Neku is easily the strongest player excluding him, not because of sheer firepower like Joshua, but because of how he can use every psyche we come across, even though NO ONE ELSE displays that level of ability, and is implied it should be impossible, or next to impossible. So yeah, that was my theory.
