I only came to this realization within the last year, but… can we please address how crazy it is that Edgeworth continued to dress like his mentor after he found out said mentor murdered his father?! I know the meta reason is because you don’t throw away a good character design once you have it and because making new sprites for Edgeworth would mean more money spent to make the games, but there is no in-universe explanation for him still dressing that way, and CERTAINLY no explanation for why he hangs his first trial jacket up in his office like a trophy when it’s essentially a maroon reskin of Von Karma’s own jacket.
