Started crying 10 minutes into the episode and never stopped. My wife, who doesn’t get into this stuff, tried talking to me toward the end and got a very loud shhhhhhhh from me because I was so into it, even the 3rd time watching. Great work everybody! So glad they found a way to get Camryn back.

I was 15 when this aired and I remember having my vcr set to record the episode while I was in school. It BROKE me. Ive only watched it once. The second time was when they re-aired in on tv. I still miss Cassie. Love Mariah. But losing Cassie? It still hurts! One of the most gut wrenching storylines. Josh, Camryn, and Sharon really, REALLY brought it.

This was such a good interivew because I literally stopped watching the show when they killed off Cassie. I felt that this conversation was needed because I always wondered how the cast felt when they got hit with the news that they were letting Camryn go. Thank you so much for doing this interview! The Grace/Sharon/Nick/Cassie storyline was classic!!

What an interview! Been a fan since the beginning, running home from HS to watch! Bought my FIRST 8-track recorder to JUST for Y&R! Having a daughter 14 years old at the time of Cassie's death was RAW EMOTION for me and my daughter. I have to admit, watching all the historical episodes has been GREAT! WOW how young we were (Nickie is my age) and how WELL we've aged! LOL!

I watched this episode several times, and each time I bawled like It was my child Dying!!! The actors make it a legendary show and show their talent!!! Since 73 this show has been a must watch for me and I can't imagine ever not having it to watch!!! The story lines and the actors have given me the most epic stories!! Y&R has always focused on many relevant, relatible problems!! And has been very socially aware of what the world needs to focus on!!!!! Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Bell for the very best show EVER AIRED!!!!!!!

I love watching the old episodes but I still wand Sharon and Nick together, I never like them with other people everytime I watch them on Y&R I'm still waiting for something to spark them getting back together.

Same! Feels to me like everytime the story begins to go that way, the writers do something to purposely drive them apart. I mean, Nick has broken up and gotten back together with Phyllis like 5 or 6 times, and it lasts anywhere from several months to a couple of years, while he's tried to get back with Sharon 2 or 3 times and it lasts anywhere from a week to a few months. The first time it was because of Summer's peanut allergy, when Crazy Patty "poisoned" her. The second time was because Phyllis woke up from her coma and crashed their wedding, and the last time was because once again Nick tumbled into bed with Phyllis. It's like, "Oh, come on! Give us a break and give Nick and Sharon a fair shot at being together!"

Time for the writers to understand that Sharon's and Nick's relationship needs to be re-established....they never truly healed from Cassie's death and there would be some good material if they really got to discuss the pain, self blame, blame in general, parenting styles etc that revolved around Cassie's death....they both keep dating other people but the way Nick pursued Sharon and Sharon genuinely loves Nick they are simply end game like Nikki and Victor

I watched all this week and saw again Cassie's death and bawled my eyes out, so I can understand Joshua not wanting to watch it. He is right when he says there has been just too much sadness this year. Not only did Kobe die in that plane crash, but his daughter was there with him; another young person lost too soon. I was not aware they were filming again. I was so excited to hear that and cannot wait to see some new episodes. I'm not sure I remember where the story lines left off though, so I hope they will review some more recent shows to catch us up.

I have to say that Cassie's death on the show was a tough episode to rewatch today....but there was another episode many years later that haunts me just as much....and that was when little Delia Abbott was run over by a car by Adam Newman and killed on Halloween. Billy and Chloe's suffering of the loss of that child continues to this day on this show.
