Josh, can you see this format being played in 5 or 10 years from now on? Like, will people call it SP format and continue to play in the future? I'm relatively new to the game so maybe I'm missing somethings but I think the format being this diverse and somewhat open to experimentation is bound to attract people. What is your opinion on this?

I think the problem with this format is that there's been like 3-4 consecutive "diverse" formats with very few differences, so the fans of these formats will always be somewhat divided and won't ever come to an agreement on the specific timeframe to use as the basis

@@Void-rj3sq well, no one agrees on TOSS but it's still very popular, I think the more agreed one will probably be the one after this banlist if konami does things right and frees a bunch of rogue decks, but otherwise it'll be either this format right here or the board breaker format without r-ace (less likely)

I personally doubt it. Time Wizard formats that aren't Goat or Edison are extremely niche as it is.

Not sure if you can run Denko Sekka since Fur Hire really likes to have its Normal Summon.

Nope. Denko is terrible in other runick builds as they all cannibalize the normal summon as a part of engine. Otherwise it should be good yo use for fur hire.

See would Evenly Matched not be better than Denko? R-Ace rarely end on Baronne and even if they chain S:P, they will atleast lose 1 of their traps and have the 2 set spells forced out. Then you have 5 cards to play through Extinguish and a returning S:P in end phase.

You can use Denko in turn 3 onwards, NS her is still good, also she is at least as a link/synchro material like Josh did in quarterfinals, but Evenly Matched is a brick after turn 2 (your going second first turn)

​@francisbartoszewski2284 Tbf, it doesn't really seem like that at the high end anymore. Afaik more decks are going into a grind game that happens turn 3/4 onwards, so planning for cards that are good in those scenarios as well as being good immediately actually seems like the play to go here

Giving rescue ace another turn plus a live SP is not a good idea
