This Set is just 50-50 you either hit a playset of every meta staple + a QCR Ash, OR you hit Ice Barrier and Fairy Tale Luna like Me :( with not even 2 copies of TTT or Evenly/LS :(

I watched a few openings of the TCG and OCG version each. While we get more fancy rarity pulls per box, I am pretty sure that compared to the OCG individual cards are short printed… It's still a great product, but that's also a bummer nonetheless…

I think the PCR is nicer because the PUR looks like a maximum gold rare without the gold and the PCR looks closer to an old school ulti

CR and QCR are probably my favourite rarities from this set. PSR isnt as bad as people say though, I like that its toned down, it looks quite elegant. UTR is probably the worst of the 4 imo, konami messed up their porting of ocg ultimates which actually look very similar to our real ultimates, just without the textured border.

We each bought one of those 3 booster-box-thingies afterwards and managed to each pull a QCR. He got Revolt and I got Number 100. lmao I need to calculate the odds of that happening, man

If you want an explanation on to why ash Is so expensive the reason is this. If you payed over 500 dollars for 6 boxes of rarity collection and you pulled any of the traps, most of the spells or something like abyss blue eyes you would have literally been better off buying 3 ash at release for 200 dollars because there's no way your pulling 3 in the next box. I'm surprised other staples aren't as high when they're just as rare and just as playable. Stuff like evenly and forbidden droplet or imperm should be just as expensive but are not and hoping that stays that way as if they get higher I wouldn't be able to afford these rarity upgrades

@@WShoup9818 I am not talking from a profit perspective, but from a casual collector/casual player perspective. Inlcuding shipping, the box costs about 100€ in germany, probably like 120 in my local store. For that amount of money, I'd expect to get ~30 key cards I am currently lacking in my collection for less or as much money as it would cost to boy the individually or at least 2-3 playsets of previously scarce cards like Pot. As it stands, the set seems like it will more often than not be a loss if you're trying to open for profit and a waste of money if you are opening casually, which is weird considering how good the contents are potentially.

Yeah, konami tcg screwed up the rarity on them, as someone with ocg ultimate rares (both new and old) real ocg ultimates look much closer to our real ultimates (just without the textured borders) than what konami put into this set.
