MMA is the worst sport for this. In football, your team might have 50 or 60 matches a year. A top UFC fighter is lucky to have 10 fights in 8 years.

If he get concussed, then it´s pretty much career over. I guess he could recover if he took lots of time off, but two back to back T/KO´s is pretty much the death sentence of any career. Freddy Roach knew best what to do when Marquez KTFO Pacquiao. He kept Manny out of any sort of contact for nearly a year. His brain had almost a year to heal and then they went back to camp.

I thought the medical suspensions were supposed to include no training in theory? That would definitely be unenforceable, short of fighters/coaches snitching on their teammates, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
