oh man...I did a disney projection map test on the lego castle and got that part working, but didn't have content. Thankyou for this! I can't wait to try to map it...sounds like someone below tried it and already had great results. Thanks for the clean video!

I projected this onto my LEGO Cinderella caste. Since the LEGO isn’t built to scale exactly it is a little wonky but it mostly fits and it is so cool!

Diddo the LEGO castle. Would you mind if I used this for my home installation? The dimensions fit perfectly and this is just what I needed for my next step. I’m going to add the fireworks in the background and run the setup on a timer for auto play!!

The depressing side of this is that the guys who animate the 2D parts of this are the ONLY people who still do 2D traditional animation at Disney. They aren't paid to do anything else besides these projection mappings.

It’s pretty much the real castle but he masked the background to just be black. It’s the closest we’ll get to the master footage

He masked out the castle and put a copy of the master mix over top of the footage. If you look at the edge of the castles profile and you can see the pices of the fireworks
