He learned how to play on an upside-down right-handed guitar, as most lefty's have to do since most shops don't carry them and you have to have them special ordered or custom made which costs way too much money for somebody learning. Of course Mono has the means to buy whatever he needs now, but he already knows how to play it this way, so why change it up? I learned how to play on my uncle's right-handed guitar when I was younger (not well, mind you, I don't play guitar at all anymore) because that's the only guitar I had access to. I made it work.
