Hi Joshua. When I was a young man I had a teacher who taught me to play a number of beautiful tunes, including this one, and he did it with the same method you are teaching here. That that was almost 50 years ago. I never thought I would be able to re-learn this great piece. But thanks to you and your patience, here I am at 73 doing just that! You have no idea how grateful I am. Keep up the good work.

These are the comments that make it all worthwhile. I remember being in assembly in school years ago and William Feasley was a guest artist and he played Recuerdos and it just blew me away. @@nbnguitar Thank you for responding . The mood has changed though, I have just found your video explaining the reason you privatized your work, I applaud your decision and the action you have taken to protect your work, it is indeed disheartening to find others on capitalizing from your effort. I could understand it , and indeed it would have been a different outcome had they obtained permission to license your work in an arrangement of sort...but the fact they did not...is infuriating. I am a 62 year old man retired to Spain , I have a guitar on my boat and a fine guitar at home and always dreamed of the moment to play some challenging compositions, which , with your help , have managed to delight myself with. I assure you that the content I intend to use will be through the subscriptions through the Vimeo portal, and look forward to spending endless more hours advancing my skill. I am sorry to hear that the culprits effected you in this negative sense....but , rest assured that good you are so graciously spreading,,,will surely be rewarded. Thank you again for all that you have done, should I find any videos in other portals...I will make it a point to inform you, I will also take the time to point out to whoever it may be that they are stealing works to which they are not entitled or qualified to claim. Brush it off... Cheers!

Hi there! Yeah, there is a bit of learning involved with this piece. One of the most important aspects is to keep nice separation between the melody and bass lines. I usually don't talk about that during the tutorials because the main point is just to get the notes across.

Of course it's ok :D All players start out playing pieces slower than intended usually with the goal being to increase the tempo as time passes! Take your time, learn it properly and then pull out the metronome and work on bringing it up to tempo.
