It goes beyond the saying to just believe. To believe means to also have the experience you are praying for. In your mind you must imagine what it feels like to be there already experiencing the wish fulfilled. That's the true gift. You manifest from the present, by feeling that you have it and thus gifting it to yourself. That's why it is called the present moment, because it is where the gift of creation happens. Your feelings are what will bring your prayers into reality. If you pray from a place of feeling a state of need, lack or uncertainty in your body and thoughts; then your physical vibration is out of alignment with the desired manifestation. can you give an example of a prayer? because I hear teachers say when you pray believe you receive it, but what does that truly mean? what does that prayer look like? Is it a prayer of gratitude? (ex: " thank you God for blessing me with my brand new home")

Roleplay the conditions and the feelings in your mind as if you are already a part of it. An example then to what you said, is to embody the gratitude that you feel and exude that energy from your body; not just simply state it. Roleplay in your mind to evoke the feeling itself with your soul and emotion. They say seeing is believing, but truly it should be feeling is believing.
