Excellent tutorial! Love your use of dynamic “levels” as opposed to traditional dynamic markings. Your intro establishes the mood so perfectly.

It’s a very good idea to start with an interpretation. It makes us discover the piece and want to learn it (and buy the tutorial ;) )

Interesting piece, and the intro section flirts with the dominant in a way which begs for an air of mystery, which your interpretation accomplishes really well. It's tough to imagine someone not enjoying hearing it played that way, yet it's cool that you're open to that. "For those who did NOT enjoy it..." I think it lends itself to the dynamic and tempo choices you made, possibly with a nod to Piazzolla. It looks like a good lesson too.

I'm so happy you did a pro practice on this one. I discovered the piece thanks to your last vidéo. And I was wondering if I would have the level to play it. I jumped to imslp to check the score and decided that would be too difficult. But I'd love to learn it in the future. So gorgeous. Thank you for everything you're do here on youtube.

How is it possible that every time I hear and begin learning a new piece, like a week later you come out with a tutorial on it?!?! This is witchcraft

Please could you do a pro practice video for the second movement of Rachmaninov’s second piano concerto?

If I relearn this, I will make a tutorial on the second and third movements :)

Hi Josh, why are you using the left pedal? Thx xoxo

Hi dear Josh 💐, I can't get the part from 3:44 on so well (left hand louder). The full sound is missing for me and it sounds so choppy at this point. It's definitely the keyboard's fault, but I don't give up and keep trying. One piece at a time. If the pieces are too heavy, it takes me too long. That's why I always play a lighter piece in between. But there are always a few blessings for me 🎶. I would like to continue playing the piano because this music gives me so much. I learned it as a child. My aunt was a piano teacher. Musicality probably runs in our family 🎶. I wish you a wonderful musical time 🌞 🎶, Ursel
