This match is literally the alternative ending of what would’ve happened had Vince didn’t screw Bret in Montreal 1997.
@jpcost3 жыл бұрын
Well technically not true because at the time it was in question whether CM Punk would stay or not. In terms of Bret he was definitely leaving, in fact he already had agreed a date with Eric Bischoff to announce his new contract. The reason why Montreal happened was because Vince didn’t want to give Bischoff the clout that came with signing the current champion at the time and he was running out of time before Bischoff would be allowed to disclose that he was leaving the WWF. I still disagree with what happened, but it’s definitely not the same.

Fursal Mursal⚡️, If Bret Hart had not been screwed by Vince McMahon back in 1997 at Survivor Series, Brett would’ve walked out with the WWF title and took it over to WCW, and WCW would have had 2 title belts. I believe they would name it, “The WWE/WCW Championship.” Would that not be a cool name?😁👍

WWE's slow "storytelling" style is a lot more obvious without the announcers to distract you from how long they're actually resting and laying down between spots. It feels like an eternity watching live. Great video though, has the same surreal feel as the shows I've been to.

I think what's great about going to a live WWE event is the fact you are in the same prescence as the stars. It's different than going to a hockey game here, since they have dozens of home games, and you have so many opportunities to see them. However, with WWE it's either once a year or once every other year. I was lucky enough to see CM vs Cena on RAW 2 years ago.

The wrestler's theme songs sound so loud on TV but the reality is that they aren't nearly that loud in the arena. Ah the wonders of TV magic, where they pipe in entrance music to make it louder, have mics in the crowd to make the crowd seem louder, mics under the ring to make the moves seem more impact than they actually are and the people not realizing the on scene director is that dorky looking guy in the ref shirt and the idiot at the commentary table waving around his pencil.
