very disappointing month on the channel, I look forward to November. Laurinaitis improved in the role, some people really hated it but I didn't. He was perfect for the GM heel character because he basically lived it. What did you think of John Laurinaitis?

I won't lie. This time period of WWE killed me as a kid. Between Laurinaitus, heel Michael Cole, big names like Edge, HBK, Batista, Jeff Hardy and more leaving within a few years, I slowly stopped watching regularly. I got back into when the Yes Movement and NXT started up again in 2013. The only time I've really stopped keeping up since was during the early pandemic days before the Thunderdome.

I remember this period so much and it gives me PTSD😂🤣. I was a kid seeing this live and I HATED it😂. Laurinaitis and his damn “People Power” gimmick was the worst and annoyed me everytime, and I always wanted Cena and the other babyfaces to shut him up. Such good times these were, and I gotta give Laurinaitis props for committing to the role.😅👍.

Honestly as far as heel authority figures go this wasn’t all that bad, it did its job and John got his comeuppance on numerous occasions. It’s not like Steph who just bullied and berated the roster every night but never got beat up for it.

I’m not really a fan of the GM thing of Johnny Ace. It’s not bad it was decent at first with the Teddy Long thing but it’s when they booked John Cena into it when the thing started to get bad. 3 Of Cena’s worse ever matches were during this time. Those matches with Cole, Show and Ace were horrendous. Cena tried to make them entertaining but WWE’s bad booking ruined that. Would’ve been better if CM Punk was involved instead of Cena. Of Course the real bad blood between Punk and The McMahon family was heating up. Given the hush money thing with Vince and Ace last year, I think WWE is trying to forget all about this run.
