Josie J Sinking

Footage of when the Josie J cargo boat finally went down in front of West Bay beach in Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. She now sits in deep water, at 168ft at the shallowest point. I read that in shipwrecks it's not uncommon for buoyant objects trapped in the sinking ship to shoot up to the surface with enough force to injure/kill survivors in the water, but I've never actually seen it on video before. This is the reason there's just a gaping hole where Titanic's forward grand staircase was, it broke apart and floated out of the overhead glass dome during the sinking, a theory which was proven during filming of James Cameron's Titanic in 1997 when the grand staircase set did exactly that when they flooded it.

I am very sad for the sake of this poor ship, how many families were the reason for their livelihood and how many people she helped . I am a sailor and I love the sea and ships.

The small van jumped off the dock to catch a lift but it landed so hard it caused a large crack in the very rusty boat causing it to be dumped at the bottom of the ocean !! Out of sight out of mind !!! Plus people can now pay to see how natural it looks under the watter !!!! Clever Humans.........

Sinking ship videos remind us how small and fragile we are compared to the vastness and power of the oceans. Historians estimate that over 2.5 MILLION ships are at the bottoms of the Seven Seas. I think I'm Thalassaphobic, (terrified of deep water). -- I CANNOT watch the movie The Perfect Storm.
