Jost Nickel is the drummer I want to listen to more than any other drummer I've ever listened to.

My god... so beautifully played, so subtle and elegant in musicianship. The sound of the snare drum in particular caught the attention, it's a Cottonwood right? Congratulations

amjan there is no "better" in music
@amjan6 жыл бұрын
There is. Jost Nickel is 100% a better drummer than you. Will you deny that statement?
@LucaMiebach6 жыл бұрын
amjan yes. Of course he's got better technique, timing and a wider musical vocabulary than me, but you can't say he's more creative or more musical than me, because those aspects are not defined and cannot be judged objectivly.

Dear Jost, your drumeo lesson on fills just blew my mind. Now it all makes perfect sense. I still can't play like that, but I understand what these drummers are doing. Thanks so much
