You know when somebody can freestyle rap and they are awesome in it? It means they are having a complete confidence in there language. The same with Jost and his drums. He plays the drums like they are a part of him. Amazing.....so fluent with feel!

After many years of listening to different drummers i am totally convinced of Josts unique and outstanding groove, time feel and extremely elegant motions. His clinics are both entertaining and educative. Apart from his musicality he is a very smart person always modest and became a friend of mine. I am very grateful for this .....

I still don't know how the hell he manages to come back in to the song out of the solo like that every time, perfectly in time...he's some kind of wizard.

He doesn't live in the pocket, he himself is the pocket. My goodness. It has been a while since I have listened to this level of precision along with this amount of graceful execution and delightful phrasing. Not to mention the impeccable sound. He is for sure a treasure and I regret that I haven't found him earlier.

whoa Jost! my fav part is definitely the one where you kinda stop, play a very sparse groove and slowly keep bringing the backbeats closer until you crash, shred a solo with the band, and ends bringing the main section of the song back. (reference: 4:29) what an AWESOME way to end a solo, it feels so good!

Im pretty convinced Jost in the best thats ever lived. Between his expressiveness, technique, and originality.. shit man. Listening to Jost is like taking shrooms: amongst the awe is an overwhelming sense of beauty and coalescence, and a memory guaranteed to be permanent. Thanks, Jost.

Is amazing to listen the Jost´s beat. I love it!! His drum solo is brutal!!! And his groove still in every compass. After the solo, his beat is great. I love this song. 100% Made in Germany: Drummer, Drum set, Cymbals, stands and microphones. My passion for this products exceeds the limits!!!!!!! Alberto Arias

Hi! my favorite part is from 2:40 to the end. I've watched it many times and I usually start it from there ... and from there, my favorite part is at 3:38 where the double stroke rolls on hh and snare starts, goes away and comes back, then ends with a slap on the stack(or splash Idk!) The Shuffle is so cool. The ghost notes made it even Trickier! Feels like having butterflies in my stomach.

This is a masterclass in groove... I've been watching your playing ever since I came across one of your KZbin videos (maybe 5 years ago?), and you've been getting steadily better. I never would have complained back then, but today your playing is smoother and tastier. It's also pretty obvious that your technique is a substantial part of this; drummers who struggle with playing efficiently and relaxed can learn quite a bit just by watching videos like this (yes, I'm one of them). Thanks to you and OnlineLessons for this performance!
