1960s-1990s was the golden era of kannada industry but after 2000s actors of KFI didn't give preferences to the writers and kept on making same kind of movies, so kannada audiences shifted to other industries for their entertainment, that's when kfi slowed down a bit, and that's when people of other industries talking negative about KFI, they don't know what kind of great movies were made in golden era of KFI, but now again that glory of KFI is coming back.

I request you to watch CBI Shankar Kannada movie. Shankar nag is the legend who always working around 18 hours a day. He did many social projects in Karnataka. Today metro hope you have traveled in metro in India. It's one of the dream project of Shankar nag sir. He brought architect plan of the metro train in early 1980's n he approached state n central government. The social projects I've mentioning here 1.government hospitals with all facilities required under 3 to 5kms. 2.government schools under 5kms. 3.ropeway in nandhi hills. 4.constructing a home using technology within 3days in 1980 to 1990 in between. 5.He started studio with the financial help of few film industry artists. And introduced all kind of technical content studio for song recording editing etc it's named as sanket means identity. He is the first director who showed skills of underwater shooting during the time of less technolgy. If you want see how does he completes underwater shooting then watch ondu muttina kathe (one pearl story) Really we miss a legend who is common man, who is artist, writer, director, who thinks to give something useful to the society via social projects n more. Before introducing it sandalwood lost an director, artist, writer in a accident on 30/09/1990 and 9th November his birthday. Even today 100% Auto drivers were still remember today you can see Shankar nag photos on front or backside of the auto's its almost 32 years passed away even ppl never forget a man who entertained n worked for society. I know only 5 of his social works there are more but it has been hidden. Basically he is working as a theatre artist he worked in all works on stage n back stage works. Novel based story Nagamandala created history in theatre shows almost nearly or more than 1 year towards. Theatre show means giving live performance in front of audience every shows.
