Kannada would be called Kannad in Hindi simply because Kannada add the aa matra for most words across the language. An example is shri ram in Hindi becomes Rama in Kannada. Then the reverse is also true. Kannada will become Kannad in Hindi.

I have listened to Navarasam and I feel that Varaha Roopam is inspired by Navarasam and not copied, there are deep differences in classical part and rhythm, Rock music is only similarity I find, I come from other region and I can clearly say it is a bias when someone says it copied! In the folklore of Tulunadu, bhuta (also known as daiva) are divinities who are worshipped through the ritual known as Bhuta Kola. In Kantara, the daiva is Panjurli, the young male boar feared for his disruptive strength by both animals and humans. He is accompanied by Guliga, a kshetrapal (they make up a group of deities who were originally worshipped as lords of farmland).
