Yes, "Finns" that have viking blood in them, and that is only for the simple reason that modern day Finns are very much mixed with Swedes, estimatedly approximately half of the Finns today are actually of Turkic/Ural/Mongol descent.

I didn't mean that original Turkic Finns have any Germanic blood in them.. But modern day Finns are really Finns to a not too great extent, modern day Finns are Swedes to maybe 50%, otherwise i know you are right about the real Finns. According to many studies Finns are a Turkic people. Finns are by the way extremely close to Estonians and they have genetic similarities with Hungarians who are also believed to be of Turkic descent. The Swedish minority in Finland is another thing.

both Y-chromosomal haplotypes and mitochondrial sequences show the low genetic diversity among Finns compared with other European populations and confirm the long-standing isolation of Finland.

that is completly wrong. according to recent genetic studies finns doesent have any genetic similarities with swedes. though there is a gropp of finns that are descendants of swedes who speak swedish, they are about 5,5 % of the population. finns are not related to any other people in europe at all, there are people in parts of russia and central asia that share the same genetic makeup.

Finns are/were not vikings.

Wrong!!!!!!!!! Finns are speakers of Finnish, which is a Finno-Ugric language, whose major speakers are Finns and Hungarians. The Vikings (from Old Norse - a Germanic Indo-European language "Sons of The Bay") were Norse and Swedish raiders and invaders of everywhere from present-day Nova Scotia to Moscow in The Dark Ages. Finns are not Vikings, any more than Hungarians are Germans (just because they live in the same area of a continent).

@Daski69 You know that even if Finland was a part of sweden they were still two difrent cultures and languages. And after seeing what you have writen, it seems like your jealous of Finland. Dont worry theres nothing wrong with that. What have sweden ewer fought for? Skåne? Skåne is nothing to be proud of. At least if you think how they stole it from Denmark.
@Daski6915 жыл бұрын
Jealous of Finland? Dude, I'm Finnish... Still I have to acknowledge the superiority of the Swedes through history, they were indeed a strong nation, but today Finland would occupy Sweden in one to two weeks in a military conflict.

why are you so agressive? lets settle this nice and easy. I know Finland was a part of Sweden for over 600 years so of course there has been a bit of mixing, but not so much that most finns are 50% germanic that´s impossible since most coastal finns have same genetic makeup as those inland and in karelia which was never under swedish control. I can show you the studies, you could just have asked. why have you not shown me where you get your facts from? "lev som du lär" as you say in sweden ;)

lets focus on the subject here. as i said that you just have to ask nice and sincerely and ill give proof to you. you can also search on google ;). you are clearly avoiding the subject because you don´t have anything else to say... i guess this is the end of discussion. i don´t need to keep up with making you look even more like a fool... thats not my style. ;)
