That's pretty cool. I wonder if that is a voltage doubler circuit. LED looks really bright. Thanks for sharing!

With the battery voltage at 1.09 volts the output voltage is about 4.5 volts pk pk. I had the LED running all day. I want to see how long it will go. 👍

That's pretty neat little circuit. So how long did that battery power that LED, and what was the voltage left when it quit, just curious? Anyway thanks for sharing, nice distraction for these days. Take care and stay well...

I think the circuit will work down to about .5 volts or so. I will have to run the battery down to find out how long it will last. Glad you liked the video and you take care as well. 👍

I ran the LED light for about 70 hours before it went out. The voltage of the battery after the LED stopped working was .43 volts.

@@TheRadiogeek Wow, that actually went a lot longer than I thought it would. Thanks for the reply and the information.

How many Lumens? What is the CRI? Will it charge Car Batteries? ;) Just kidding, I love the video and the kit. I saw something similar to this on Universal Radio where the proceeds went to buying shortwave radios for those remote villages in Africa.

Funny! 😂😂 . On this model you just speak into the inductor and tell it how many lumens you want. You can ask it about any of life’s questions and get an answer. If you buy one of these all of your wildest dreams will come true. Not bad for 5 bucks! Glad you liked the video. Take care. 👍

The best thing about this circuit is it will run with almost any combination of coil and transistor. Here is an attempt with a 400v power transistor and an ignition coil. It makes an extremely hot arc: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZ_VlKVslK-eiac
