What pretty covers. The one has very tidy edges, something that isn’t always easy to achieve! I thought for sure you were going to need more fabric for the snippet one, but you had enough and the lace was perfect addition to it. I am one of the “tidy among us” and I love your tidy journal cover. I always do the front the same way, but then when I do the inside, I iron down all the edges and then put a little drops of glue to put it properly placed, and then I sew it, your way is so much easier, although, I think maybe I’ll just split the envelope so it ends up being just one envelope. You’re a genius.

Hello Gayla. I am not sure I am understanding about the little pieces. Are you ironing the stabilizer down (after sewing) and then washing the cover???

She sews all over it to hold them down, and then puts it in the water and the stabilizer dissolves.

Lyn is correct! I sewed it on camera, so the only step left is to run under hot water and dissolve the stabilizer. No ironing at all. Hope that helps! ❤
