@ maybe that can still work for you? if you have written down for example "how to make an envelope pocket" you can search youtube for that but maybe add "how to make an envelope pocket for junk journals" you might be able to find the video you saw or something similar. worth a try : )

Donna! your a genius! i had to stop half way thru and try this. i just grabbed a coffee dyed double page from a composition notebook i previously deconstructed and started folding as you showed us and voila!! pockets using the same piece of paper-brilliant! i do have some larger books this will be perfect for. thank you SO much!! 👏❤👍

What a fantastic trick! Really like this idea. I recently found a large atlas book & this is a great way to utilize those large pages.👍 Though, they may be too large. Lol.😬 Btw...love the book of birds! And, your mother's notebooks are so sweet. What a lovely way to memorialize her💛

Thanks Tracy, even those too big pages can be trimmed down if needed, but you'll be surprised at how much width this can soak up. yeh Mums little notes are everywhere i love them 🦋 cheers Donna

I absolutely love this! I have several of the large books and this is perfect. That little extra part of the back pocket could also stick out the back and you could use a decorative scissors or edge punch to make it look like a piece of lace is in there.

I'm so glad to have another idea for my large book pages. How nice to have all your Mom's old notebooks with her handwriting. I have all my mom's recipes with her handwriting. It's fun to look at!

Although your idea is good, quit cutting off, start higher up on page and incorporate the excess that you would normally cut off into the pockets at the bottom
