My answer would have to be my Bibe. Not only is it full of great stories/parrables, it also gives me great wisdom. No matter how I feel I can open it's pages and inside I'll find the answers I need. It feeds me Spiritually and keep my imagination alive with it's words!!

I just discovered your content channel, and I have to say that I fell in love with it. As a 62 years old youngster, I am learning to write again; I am beginning this new chapter in my life (I retired from the U.S. Marshals Service in December 2017). I decided to start writing. As a user of computerized word processors, my writing, well, 😂 if you call it writing, even if I cannot understand what I wrote, is going back to elementary writing basics. I just bought a vintage book of Shadows journal, one for me and another for my wife (we have been married for 42 years). Both journals should be here next Tuesday. I cannot wait to write with my collection of fountain pens. Anyway, I know I am going to spend time watching your videos. Thanks, best regards, and be safe. 🙏

The calligraphy is so beautiful but honestly the most impressive part to me is that you can write in such a perfectly straight line. On such a trip I would bring a hand sewing project along.

Since this is a galleon trip, or a throwback to an earlier era, I would take a medieval navigation kit (map, astrological chart, nautical chart, telescope, compass). I would make sure not to know the ship's route ahead of time. During the voyage, I would trace the route using medieval navigation tactics and after the trip compare with the actual route taken by the captain using today's radars and satellites.

What a lovely journal!! And I like your new name and philosophy about making changes and mistakes. It's good to recognize that change is the only constant! I laughed when you said aside from a notebook. If it's time appropriate... HM... A laundry press. I'm sure I can find some way to rig up material to collect dew and rain water, then squeeze it out. Also, wet clothes are very bad for the health so I can dry them quickly. I thought about bringing oranges or lemons too. Chop them up and dry them to preserve for the journey. I also thought about an astrolabe.

Oh gosh, yes, the notebook is a must, and with that notebook is something to write with. My weapon of choice would be one of my fountain pens, maybe a Lamy because they write well (and I would definitely also need to sneak a bottle of ink into my bag).

This notebook is gorgeous. I’ve been following the channel since you were the pocket traveler. As for something I would bring for such a long trip is socks. Lots and lots of socks because if your feet are wet, you can get sick very easily. So if I really want to enjoy it, nice dry socks it would be for me.

On a long sea journey I would bring a 9th century style cloak with gored and slashed sleeves and a ridiculously massive hood so I could be warm and dry and use the cloak as a shield to scribble and look mysterious as I read spooky stories to the ship rats. It would most definitely be green outside with a burnt cream colour inside. I must away now. whitchthings

Loved hearing the story of how your channel has changed names. You have such a wonderfully healthy and refreshing attitude towards the change and growth of your channel! Hmmm I think for this voyage I would have to bring my Tolkien book set, I could read Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit over and over again!!! Just sitting and reading while listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the boat rise and fall sounds so wonderfully relaxing. (this is @doinmydrills btw :D)

This is an obvious object but I can´t imagine anything else. I would definitely bring a journal to spend long days with creating a story. And by the end of the journey I would have written a novel. Because even in the loneliest moments, imagining stories gives me warmth. Plus I would have enough pencils to last through illustrating the story as well. Ohh, just thinking about it makes me fell fulfilled.

I love your work. I taught world history for many years and students often had to create paper such as what is in the journal. If it is assumed that I would already have a journal and writing instrument then I would bring a book. Something that I wouldn't mind reading a few times such as one of Follett's books on the Middle Ages. I don't have an instagram account. Thanks for sharing.
