I just love your journalling videos. Thank you. Also thanks for the tip about the K-Mart Matte photo paper. I love it. As it is quite thick for my MD pages, I tear off the back layer so there is not as much bulk. Also, would love to know the musical tracks you use 'cos I love them. Is that Jane's watercolour?

F that. Your art doesn't have to smile. Who is that person to tell you what your art should look like. Your art isn't going to speak to everyone and that's ok. Do what you need, share yourself the way you want. For every person that doesn't connect with what you put into the world there will be someone else who does, and you will help them through. No one has a right to tell you who you should be and how you should feel when under the guise of "just spreading positivity "

The lovely lady who asked me smiling creatures messaged me afterwards explaining why she asked... and her reason touched my heart, it was more to do with the moments in her life than anything else, she meant no harm at all, and I will do my best to create some smiling creatures for her because she’s entrusted me with that and I’m humbled by it.
