Yesss thanks so much for doing this tutorial! I love using florals in my journals but struggle with finding ways of drawing flowers that aren’t the same basic shape because I’m not the best at drawing, but this was simple and easy to follow and will definitely help me try something new!

This was a fantastic tutorial! Thank you so much. I really appreciate how clear your instructions are and how even using only a few colors I could still get fun flowers! I feel like I never know what flowers to draw but now I've got some fun options. I think the tulips were my favorite to make!

These flowers are really pretty and easy to draw. I used brush pens for the first time by drawing these flowers and it turned out good. Thank you for your video. 💙

i have bought a great variety of tombow dual brush pen, but no matter what i do they just don't blend at all, not even if i super quickly switch to the next pen without waiting. do you know what i could be doing wrong? i tried to follow along, but it didn't turn out good at all. 😔 to me they're like very bad super expensive off-brand kid markers.

I think I understand what you mean. I agree that the Tombow dual brush pens don't blend very well, especially if you compare them with alcohol based markers like the copics. I also find that they dry pretty fast and there's not much you can do to avoid lines between layers. However, there are two things I would advice you to try out! First is to simply try switching the paper you're using. Some papers, especially ones meant for watercolors, allow more blending time than regular notebook papers for example. The second thing is looking into getting one of those clear blender pens that are meant to use with brush pens, or just get a small watercolor brush for the same purpose. I use to use a Zig clean color real brush blender and I have a lot of earlier videos on my channel where I demonstrate how I used it. Basically, you dip it in water and rub color to it from the brush pen and that allows you to use the pens in a more watercolor type of way :) Tombow has one of those clear blender pens as well but it's not very good in my experience, so a regular watercolor brush might work better!
