For any bullet journalists: it's good to have a list of possible themes you like, so you don't have to worry about coming up with a theme on the spot or quickly. Sometimes just nothing comes to mind and I myself have the best ideas in the most random moments. Just keep a list at the end of your journal. 💜

This is such a great advice, thank you for sharing it! ☺️ I have a list of theme ideas as well. It doesn't even have to be a specific theme, it can be a simple word like "dreamy" or "misty" and it might be just enough to get your brain into brainstorming mode. Haha but sometimes the inspiration comes suddenly from the weirdest places, like this month I had already planned to do something else but suddenly I really craved for a fresh theme instead. 😄

I absolutely LOVE your journals and your art. Your art is seriously what I aspire mine to be like. If I can just point out one small thing? I think it's cool that you're interested in and inspired by Japanese and Chinese culture, but there's no such thing as "Asian culture". The art style you're representing is from East Asia (which you do amazingly) but Asian also means India, Pakistan, Thailand, The Philippines, etc. You seem like such a lovely person, and as someone who is Asian, I just wanted to let you know as some people might get offended. (Lots of people get offended by a lot of things these days.) That being said, I'm not one of them; I just want to spread awareness and don't want you getting put-down by others on social media. I absolutely love you, your art, and your channel, and I'm currently marathoning all of your videos.

Thank you! ☺️ I colored small black dots to indicate the weekdays of this month. So each line of dots is one week in January. And then every day I'll do each habit I will color a bigger black circle on top the initial dot. :) Please ask if you have any further questions! I will also show a flip through of this month in the beginning of my February plan with me, so you can see better how everything turned out and how I used my bullet journal! ☺️

I think I just said "fake calligraphy font". ☺️ It basically means we have a real calligraphy look in the end, but without actually using a brush to create wider and thinner lines on the letters. 😄 I'm just making each downstroke thicker with a normal pen to create the same effect, which is much easier.

You're correct! 😄 New year part was mainly Japanese but I got inspiration from Chinese art as well, so the style might lean more towards there. ^^
