Thanks for saying that. I was a little confused about that haha. I didn't know if it was normal to feel a little sad when remembering those traumas. I think it is just human. But we gotta get out of the victim mindset, that doesn't mean we can't be sad no more for the past. Idk

“If you feel like you don’t fit into the world you inherited, you were born to create a new one.” This was the one message I wanted to share with the world because every time I remind myself of this during my low points, it restores a sense of energy & purpose in me. It reminds me that I indeed have agency over how my life goes & that I don’t have to accept the world that I live in now. I have power to change it 💫 P.S. I LOVE this video idea!! Lesson I want to share with the world - do what you love . Whether it is your study , job, work or anything. Just do things you love. Don't fall into your parents what they makes them happy. Ask yourself what makes you happy and go for it and give your 100% into it. As you follow your passion you'll open the doors for the millions of people to do the same thing and help them to impact the world.

I don't understand why this comment has only 85 likes. It is because of this motive that I actually began to consider my career instead of becoming a doctor like my parents wanted me to. If I was still in the mindset I was in about ten years ago, I would have looked back and regretted my decisions. Now, I have actually learnt to speak my own mind and I come going to do what I love no matter what comes in my way.👍🏼

I feel the most alive when I'm with other people having great conversations or in nature, instead of being always alone in my room in front of a screen. I value knowledge, health, helping others and God. My message is that everything pass, the good and the bad things, so we should live with calm and clarity of mind. We too are meant to pass, so we should always be kind to ourselves and others and do what's right, even if we are scared or have low will power. We should imagine our child watching us and learning from us: how would we behave? We would be courageous, generous, tireless, honest, loving, cheerful... Thank you, Aileen! 💜 PS: I love the music, the prompts and the duration, I would like to see you journaling along and share your insights at the end!

Message to share: Take care of yourself, start from mind body and soul. Those are the basic components of each of us. I believe, if we fix each of those components we will become a better version of ourselves, thus giving a good vibe to our surrounding. If all of us do it, I believe, the world is gonna be a much better place. As you try improving each of it, take a baby steps. Don't rush on yourself. Be thankful for every single steps you did. Don't be shame of yourself when you know you can't do it, just be humble and nice. This is such a great session! I just can't believe I wrote everything inside my mind. I realized a lot of things have gone wrong and I've strayed away from my own values. I think it's time to start taking action again. I'm really grateful to find your channel!

message to share: Please don’t take too long to cut out negative people even if they call themself a “best friend” when their actions/words show they don’t wish the best for you in life. You might always give excuses for their behavior until one day it’s like “oh my gosh why did I allow stuff like this??” Please notice it sooner, the better off your mental time & health will be. (Even if they manipulated people close to you to make you look bad and they’re still close to those you had loved, it’s ok to let them go. Because they’re not really there for you in the first place.)

This is completely right...I let go a person who loved me to hate me at all..He attacked me. Let me down always..clowned me..disrespected me by putting me into a slutty state..Used me..but after doing all these mental harm i loved him, wished him to be mine, tolerated all the harsh deeds..I dont know what this is called..A friend told me its stupidity..In last two three days, I thought a lot. Got the courage and cut of my bad life pattern which was no longer serving me ..It hurts a lot..but worth it..I think time will cure my pain..if anybody see this wish me luck..srry for my grammer..

This video is a great idea, well done!! It really gives time to just spend 20-30 minutes within myself. The first insight I have is that I really appreciate time when I am with myself in calm and shiny atmosphere, and this gives me the freedom to do whatever I want without any judgment from the outside world. The message I would like to share is "Give yourself time to think before you do anything". It will change the life a lot because it gives the another perspective, the feeling of responsibility and control for own life, and not others and especially the realizing of the moment. You know, we are often in a rush and couldn't just slow down to feel the moment and this simple thing - to just think and feel for some seconds or minutes - helps a lot.

18 mins went just like that. I’m so immersed when I’m answering the question. I’ve been avoiding doing this kind of exercise, like asking hard question to myself. It’s overwhelming and I just can’t bring myself to do it. Today I decided to sit down and just do it. I’m so glad I finally got to do this. It felt good afterwards. It’s like I dig deeper into myself and discover myself. Thanks, Aileen! 😘

I truly appreciate and value you as a person and the uplifting prompts and conversations you share with us all. On that note, my favorite prompt was the second, well really I favor them all. I was able to trust myself to be honest and fully transparent. In doing so, I feel I've gotten further along in my self discovery journey. Once again Thank You!!! ❤️❤️🙏😁

These are the main points that I took away: - I need to do art or go outside everyday, and make these a priority for me because it forces me to slow down, which is when I feel the most alive. - The key is in pausing before reacting. - It is so important to look inside and shake up the dust to see what comes up, ESPECIALLY if it’s uncomfortable to do so. Healing is messy and it takes a lot of time, energy and resources: financially, physically, emotionally and mentally. Therapy does not work if you are not willing to put in the work to be open, raw and honest. This was amazing Aileen!

I really love this Interactive Prompt. More videos like this please! hehehe. I especially liked the last prompt! My message is: "Try living every day with love and compassion." I know stress and emotions can get in the way but we should always try to deal with people with love and compassion. I really don't like how toxic social media has been getting with all the cyberbullying and the CANCEL CULTURE that jeopardizes the lives of many. Words are powerful weapons and we should always be mindful of how we wield them. Being compassionate may also mean reprimanding those in the wrong but it should be done with love and respect.

The last prompt was my favourite and the message that i want to share is - TRUST, trust that everything is happening in your favour. Trust that the universe loves you and no matter what it is always there for you. If things are not going according to your plan tell the universe about it and see the miracle how the circumstances will change only for you. Trust the universe loves you.

This is awesome, loved it! The message I have to share is: “even if you are not ready, you are ready. There is a deeper part of you that is capable of so much more than your mind limits you to. You, the soul, the intuitive self is capable of anything. Don’t be fooled by your mind, just go for it and trust yourself. You are capable.” In my experience in adventure sports, meditation, cold exposure, I’ve seen what my body is capable of doing when I push myself to reach further than what I thought. It’s amazing when we go into discomfort what can happen!!

Gonna follow this series for sure! By the way, the line that struck me was " There is no perfect timing". I believe that somehow, we have to act upon our thoughts so that when we fail early, then we can pick up our pieces and start all over again immediately. ( The thoughts I've written down were somehow vague because my writing skills are "mood dependent". I was pressured by the timer lol, but it helped me to practice articulating my thoughts on the spot. So thank you for this!)

Hi Aileen! These journaling prompts were so helpful and insightful! They were exactly what I needed and it helped me freshen up my mind. Coincidentally, I was going through past journals last night, and it made me realize how aware and accepting I was of all of my feelings and moods back then. Lately, I've been so dismissive of "bad" vibes/energy that I don't allow myself to feel them. I don't know if this is a correlation to how I've been lately, but I noticed that my journal entries haven't had as much substance and self-awareness in them like before. The third prompt in your video really spoke to me. I've always been a big supporter of people who don't conform to the expectations of society. I think it's so important to be aware of who we all are individually and accept everything we feel and go through. We should all be able to pave our own paths towards our own definition of success. Thank you so much for posting this video. I feel inspired!

Thank you for this video, it is a simple concept but it really helps with self discovery. I sometimes see this kind of prompts and think: ah, nothing special, and never journal about it. Today it forced me to write about something I never really journaled or thought about and I found just how much my friends and really living the best life I can fulfils me and brings me joy. I can see how the next few weeks or months might be hard for me, as we are heading towards another lockdown. I will have to find something else as fulfilling.

this was really powerful. I almost cried while finishing the last prompt. I feel like I already knew these things about myself on a surface level, but I was able to go at least another level deeper in only 15 minutes. It will take many months or probably years to dig even deeper; I’m happy with where I am now, though, and excited for the future. 💖💕❤️💗

Thank you Aileen. I write everything based on the prompts tonight before my birthday (tomorrow) and it has given me a self-reflection moment that I have never experienced before. The prompts led me to a new start with a new age. ❤

Thank you for this video, i loved it. It would be nice if you could have a video like this every week or two, so we can have a habit in journaling and discovering ourselves together. Honestly, when i want to journal but dont know what to write there are just so many journaling prompts and i cant choose one lol so this is perfect because i dont have to choose. Once again, thanks, and keep up whit the good work. Lots of love

Hi!!!! I love all the prompts, Aileen; my favourite one was definitely the last one. Because it is so clear to me the message I’d like to share with the world. ✨✨✨✨ Best insight: All of it! That I am here, now, and true. That I’ve been ME for longer than I can remember. It has taken me a * time * to get here! I am speaking in rhyme and riddle, we are but strangers, though honestly, Aileen, I am deeply grateful for the resources you share. //// Also: Funny story... I decided to do your 30-days journalling prompt exercise (from an older video of yours), and I am on Day 16 (of the exercise) as of today!!!! //// This would be a wonderful video series, should you like to continue making it. Thank youuuu! 🎃🎃🎃🎃

This was so great!! Having the timer was helpful to really focus in on the main points for each question. I was afraid it would make me anxious, but it was kind of a fun challenge to see how fully I could answer the questions in the initial 5 min. The first prompt was the most helpful for me. I've been dealing with some health issues, and it helped me remember what I care about and why I'm getting better! Thank you, Aileen!

I learned that I give myself too much slack. I need to be kinder to others if they have done nothing wrong to me. My behaviors are all conscious decisions that lead me to feel whatever I feel based on how I act. I am happier when I make others smile. When I say unnecessary rude remarks, I end up feeling bad and realize there was no point in saying things to hurt others. I like yoga and taking deep breaths. Slows down the mind, body, and resets the tone for the rest of your day.

Thanks for this video Lavendaire! I have been watching your videos for a long time and have watched your journalling encouragments grow and this is the best one! Make sure to continue these as a series because I think it's really helpful. Actually, I had just completed my daily stream of consciousness journalling when I decided to see what you're up to on KZbin and did this exercise now I have started to hone in on my lifes purpose and am journalling my way to fulfillment. Thank you again Lavendaire!!

I really needed this today. I haven't watched your videos in quite a while and forgot how calming they could be. Also, I've been journaling this year a bit lately I haven't found it in me to do much journaling until this video came and I knew I had to watch it. My favorite prompt had to be the last one, as it made me realize a lot. Thank you for this and I truly hope it becomes a series!! :)

My favorite prom was the last one, I had the feeling that my soul writes instead of me. I've just found my purpose in my life (I'm 17 years old) and I had known it before that i will change the world in some way and I found it. Thank you, Aleen 💗. I would love to continue with this series💗💗🌈

Really good! Please do more. Journalling can be hard to freestyle until you've built the muscle for it, so this provides structure. Thank you. My key take out is that I don't spend enough time reflecting especially on what matters, and what will keep me moving forward. My one message was 'live your life in the moments, spend more time there rather than in the past or the future'. Would also be good to have some simple journal prompts to repeat on a weekly basis too. Thank you x

I feel these questiones help me to put myself back into the track. The session reminds me of "me" and my responsibility of life. When I write my values down on the paper, I get to know myself better. I really enjoyed the seesion and the music, design. Thank you Aileen.
