Journalist voices concern over US being 'roped into war' with Iran by Netanyahu

US State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel responded to concerns over the US getting “roped into war” with Iran by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a press briefing on Wednesday.
The journalist voicing the concerns highlighted how Netanyahu testified to US Congress in 2002 that Iraq had been developing nuclear weapons, which turned out to be false, and that in the same congressional hearing he called for “regime change” in Iran.
