Nice spine on that and beautiful colors on back of book! Gram raised me on that tea. With jelly toast, cinnamon sugar toast and scones with raisins and nuts.

You are so right about the tea. I’ve drunk black tea all my life and about 6 months ago I started adding cream and sugar and like you, I’m hooked. Your work is exquisite. Thanks for sharing all you do.

I'm late jumping on the junk journal train. I even would make journals like Ginger's. She's great! The thing about this newer phase of jj, is how expensive it's become. With all the stuff they buy to make a jj has evolved it's no longer use junk, you buy your junk. I love the cheap kits. but it costs me $70 to print it all out. I think I'm going to use the best of both worlds.Your journal is beautiful. I'd like to see a video of you making your cover, and that stitch you used to sew the book in. Thanks, Sharon

Very nice journal but all of your journals are I watched you from the very first journal the bits and baubles are so yummy without being overly junky and the names and stories you tell about them. I would like to see you do a fabric cover that's sewn with ruff edges I am afraid of ruining my sewing machine so seeing how it's done would be great.

Nik, I'm always so impressed and inspired by your work. I've made your lapbook for my 7 year old granddaughter, and I thought she may be a bit too young. SHE LOVED IT! I also thought she would stuff it away in a closet after the love wore off. I'm told (she lives far away) that she still flipps through it at 9 yrs old. Here is my thought. I'd love to make a journal of the style above annually. Kind of "A year in the life of Amelia - 2021". However the little girl vibe just isn't there. How do I connect the Junk Journal Aesthetic with a little girl vibe? I love the mini books that so many crafters make, but the expense of a full pack of decorative card stock is prohibitively expensive - Graphic 45 is $30-40 bucks!. (we're in Canada so imagine about 1 and a half times the US cost or there abouts). I'd love to see your take on something like this. Cheers! Keep posting, I'll keep enthusiastically watching!

Nicole I just get excited when I see a "nournal" video from you... LOL.. hilarious! Love your style of books and this one especially, love the idea of the hi-bred as that way I can use up my designer papers. I'd love to see tutorials or even a process videos of how you create your journals. Our country was under the British colony until 1981 so we have similar culture and we drink our tea with cream and sugar and its all that! LOL... YES! You crack me up... Tfs :-) {{hugs}}, Steff
