There’s a reason these guys have sold so many millions of albums/CD’s etc., Starting in the 70’s when they were a little less commercial, leading up to the later version of the band, they have had an unbelievable ride. Steve Perry on lead vocals here. He brought them to the top of the mountain.

They really were a great band! The vocals by Perry - exceptional, great hooks and melodies, and one of the best guitarists on the planet. I’m a big fan of their first 3 albums which weren’t very successful. But one of the songs that always blew me away was Faithfully. Great ballad but amazing writing and the way the song ends with Perry doing what he does and Neil Schon closing with an incredibly melodic speed solo intertwined with Perry’s vocal’s always blew me away. And I’m a heavier rock and roll blues guy and PROG. Their 1st 3 albums have blues, heavier rock and prog.

Love Steve Perry's voice. I saw Journey live in Michigan right after their breakthrough album was released. Fantastic show and I still remember Steve's long black hair and red wrap around shirt and his black spandex pants. He looked and sounded incredible!! When the crowd was filing into the outdoor park (Freedom Hill), most of us were saying we never heard of Journey but the tickets were cheap and it was a beautiful summer night and most of us just decided to go. Like 👍 Number 765. Written by Steve Perry, Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon. JC on piano 🎹. NS on lead guitar 🎸. They wrote ✍ this song fast 🐆 This is the signature song of Journey 👍 Greg Rolie and Neal Schon quit Santana and founded Journey. JC was in The Babys, which had John Waite as the lead singer. But The Babys broke up in 1980. JC joined Journey as Greg Rolie retired. I did go far in the Atari video game 🎮 😖 Santana, Journey and I were born in San Francisco 🌉. I grew up with Steve Perry on lead vocals. 👨🎤 Produced by the late Mike Stone, RIP, and Kevin Elson, RIP. They produced Rock Springfield, Aerosmith and other rock legends 🙌 Suggested songs 🎵 1 Journey performs Message of Love 2 Bad English performs Straight to Your Heart 3 The Storm performs I've Got a Lot to Learn about Love
