Yes you were right Faithfully is about their life on the road. It was written by Jonathan Cain who plays the piano and keyboards, and by Steve Perry the vocalist who is phenomenal. The lyrics were inspired by Jonathan wanting to write a song for his then wife. Journey was one of the hardest non-stop touring bands during that era and life on the road was tough it took a toll on all of them. You will love Journey & Steve Perry's angelic voice you won't just hear him you'll feel him in your soul! Listen to When you Love a Woman, Why Can't This Night Go on Forever, Still They Ride, omg there are so many but I guarantee you'll love every one. Steve's vocal range cannot be compared to anyone. There is one and only one Steve Perry in a lifetime.

This song came from the keyboard player to his girlfriend. They were having problems connecting because he was on the road so much and he wanted to assure her that their relationship will endure despite them being apart sometimes. He said they were sitting on their bed in the hotel room, he pulled out the keyboard and played this song to her, and she started crying tears of joy and love. That is so sweet! 🤗🤗🥰🥰

Do "Send Her My Love" (the video that's with the band doing a live concert and Steve Perry is in a white jacket)! It is perfectly lined up with a love lost in my own life as if it were made with me and my situation in mind! A first Love that was meant to be but because of my youth I took her for granted and lost the best thing that was ever meant to happened..... outside of my kids of course! I didn't realize how much I truly Loved her until it was too late..... I learned first hand after that day at the "cafe" (actually a pancake house) the saying, "You don't know what you've got.... until its gone."! I know this may be pathetic but, I still Love her as much as I did back then and really miss her. "Send Her My Love" will always mean to me.... "Send ANNE My Love"! Thanks for listening. I have many other songs/artists from back then too that not many (if any) have reacted to yet if any channel is interested.
Don’t miss “Lights/Stay Awhile” on the ‘Captured’ album; it’s a live performance. If I recall correctly, the studio versions of the songs are on the “Infinity” album, but I may be wrong. Steve Perry’s “golden” voice is literally a “one-in-TEN-million” phenomenon. Even though that Indonesian guy who sings with journey now is pretty good, there is no comparison, and I’ve never heard another voice like Steve Perry.

Steve Perry is called the Voice for a reason. He’s the vocalist. They toured all over and still do with a different vocalist. They say he’s as good as Steve, but I disagree. I think he’s like a Steve Perry impersonator. Like an Elvis impersonator. Just my opinion. Steve Perry is the vocalist who sang this song. I've heard of Journey and am quite sure I've heard some somewhere, they were big back in the days... No, don't think I've heard this song... hm, solid rock, solid musicianship, but in the end they don't really get me, I mean it's not bad at all, but won't make it on a playlist... btw., it was not me who said you should do a reaction to RAMMSTEIN's hilarious new video 'Dicke Titten' (big titties) :) and I still am not a fan especially of the "industrial" parts, but the orchestral parts are great and the video is hilarious and was shot in Bavaria obviously, so if you're curious what it looks like around here... and the song maybe is deeper than it seems... :) Anyway have a great evening and enjoy it! :)
