I was able to see Journey live 5 times in the 80s. Every show was absolute perfection.

Prince was worried that Purple Rain sounded too much like Faithfully, so he called up Jonathan Cain and got his blessing ❤

Steve Perry, the voice, sings us to heaven. This song is one of the most beautiful and one of the few that I like better in the studio version, as the video is just perfect. Other than that, I love Journey with Steve live because they were just better. Check out the “Escape” concert, so many good hits and the dynamics were amazing. “Mother, Father” a masterpiece, the intensity with which Steve sang, you can feel it in your core. And definitely “When You Love a Woman (Official HD Video - 1996)” is wonderful.

So many great Journey songs. Open Arms, Mother Father, Stone in Love, Separate Ways, Lights. Too many to list. Live performances are best for me. They are awesome live

Journey toured 9-10 months a year, 4-5 shows a week for years. Such a grinding schedule.

Journey has So Many great songs that Steve Perry (The Voice) made famous, that I hope you’ll continue to have them on your channel. They actually still tour today, with a different lead singer, doing all the songs that Steve Perry made famous. I’ve been to two of their concerts and they were incredible! Some popular songs are “Open Arms”, “Separate Ways”, “Still They Ride”, “Who Crying Now”, “Only The Young”, and “Mother, Father”, many of which are available live from their Houston concert, which was amazing! ❤

Check out Open Arms, or Send Her My Love. Also fantastic love ballads. Lights is another, about San Francisco. Mother, Father is the masterclass from Steve Perry, so recommend to save that one until last.

One the very best songs ever, certainly the best journey song. It inspired purple rain by Prince and heaven by Bryan Adams.

Takes me back to Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, NJ the summer of '83. A true hold your Bic lighter in the air song. Been there, done that, had the t-shirt and that sticker from the album.

If you would like to react to an amazing and quite emotional performance, I would HIGHLY suggest Kelly Clarkson's "Piece By Piece" when she sang it live on American Idol. Without giving away the story of the song, whenever she says "you" she's referring to her father, when she says "he" she's referring to her husband, and when singing "her" she's talking about her daughter.

Survivor (Eye of the Tiger) replaced their lead vocalist with a Steve Perry-isque type of singer. Listen to the song, "Can't Hold Back".

ok exceptionally, a comment in the middle of the week, but I have to. long live the music long live love long live pizza long live Rachel (well this point is debatable 😁😌) I'm obviously joking aha aha aha... 🤦 indeed, you are a little cookie. but a little cookie that we would all like to have in our cupboard very interesting explanation. I didn't know this music. if I think that will works miracles, I begin to tell myself that this miracle is incomplete without love. 🤔🤷 very beautiful music. There's a group from my town that sings in English, and one of their songs often accompanies me. it's called "lost in tradition" from "the inspector cluzo" from the album "rockfarmers." There It’s a gift, it’s for me. 🥳 This time, I'm taking a short comment break for a few days. I hope my English is understandable. See you soon 🍀

@Kimberliss4250 минут бұрын
Shhh.. Talk after watching and listening to the entire video/song.. I searched for reactions to this, but I can't watch when the songs are interrupted for talking.. It's much better to watch the reaction expressions then listen to the reactors opinions..
