My husband become Catholic through RACIA, sadly he had to learn about Catholicism from "Catholicism for dummies" as they (very nice and good people) didn't even explain what the rosary is for. Later on - in his words "what did I convert to, the Anglicans are more Catholics" - fortunately he/we found SSPX.

Dear Sister, the SSPX is not in full communion with Rome and hasn’t been for decades. I almost attended an SSPX chapel but I went to their website and became convinced that they had a Protestant spirit. I grew up nominally Catholic with some Protestant beliefs. My confirmation classes were not the best but I found a lot of resources such as Catholic Answers. I have studied many religions as a hobby for the past 17 years. The SSPX has valid sacraments like the Orthodox churches but are not under the authority of the current nor previous Popes. The “Old Catholic” church came about because they did not accept Vatican 1 and the “SSPX” came about because they did not accept Vatican 2. Do not be decieved Sister. I recommend that you learn about the Eastern Catholic Churches so that you learn about other ancient liturgies and how mass is celebrated. Many in the SSPX erroneously believe that their form of the liturgy is the original form. I love attending the Latin mass but I know that the first mass was celebrated in Aramaic, the language of our Lord Jesus 🙏🏻 I pray that you return to Christ’s Church ⛪️
