1980 से 1999 तक के दौर में जोधपुर से खंडवा (मध्यप्रदेश) तक मीटरगेज की रेल यात्रा करता था। इसी रूट पर मारवाड़ जंक्शन से मावली तक और वापसी में मावली से मारवाड़ जंक्शन तक रेल यात्रा कई बार की थी। मारवाड़ जंक्शन से मावली तक पहले इस रेल में कोयला इंजन लगता था। आज भी उस दौर की रेल यात्रा कई यादें ताजा है। उस रेल यात्रा के दृश्य आज भी याद है। इस रूट पर खामलीघाट से गोरमघाट तक रेल पहाड़ों से होकर गुजरती थी। जो बहुत ही सुन्दर और शानदार रोमांचक भरा रेल सफर था। लेकिन समय के बाद बदलाव भी जरूरी है। फिर भी इस मीटरगेज की इस रेल की विदाई बहुत ही भावुक कर देनेवाला पल है।

Satya Bhai a very nostalgic end of Metre Guage train Between Mavli jn to Marwar. I personally feel that at least this line could have been preserved as a Heritage section. Guage conversion will take at least 5 to 6 years till such time the Passengers who were dependent on these train will have a tough time. You covered the Entire journey upto Kankroli very excellently. Tears simply poured out of my eyes as All of you bid goodbye to this train as it left Kankroli Station on its last journey to Marwar. I have also travelled in metre Guage trains between Manmad and Secunderabad in Seventies as well as fROM Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli Jn. Now Chennai to Tirunelveli and upto Kanyakumari Is Broad Guage. OF course these are all Priority sections and Guage section work went on Schedule. Special thanks for covering this finale train journey. Fully loved and enjoyed this Digital travel with you. All the best. Take care.

Indian railways should preserve some of these meter gauge routes and run trains , even if it causes some loss, they can make profit on other routes. I feel these kinds of beautiful routes and simple quiet stations are so rare these days

Yes, i love meter Guage trains. I used to travel from kanyakumari to Chennai. Those days the entire stretch used to be meter Guage with electric locomotive and ac and first class. Used to be good and memorable.

The last journey by loco 6733. This is emotional for the locals as they only knew this train and their meter gauge line! Changes are difficult to deal with but this is for a very good reason. They can get faster and modern trains on this route!

3:40 मुझे नही लगता मारवाड़ से खामली घाट बंद होगा क्योंकि X में CPRO साहब ने बोला है मारवाड़ से खामली घाट preserve रहेगा as heritage क्योंकि नए प्लान अनुसार मारवाड़ से देवगढ़ नए अलाइनमेंट यानी देवगढ़ से हरिपुर नई लाइन बिछाई जाएगी।

You are such a pure and dedicated railfan by heart without any doubt Satya, because only a true and pure railfan can make such videos. Rail vloggers or rather "fake rail fans" can't even think or imagine such content. A video with full of emotions, felt the same emotions when the Omkareshwar meter gauge train was permanently terminated last year. The historical and iconic meter gauge era is getting over very quickly as only a couple of routes are left with the meter gauge tracks in our country and we will miss these gorgeous looking YDM 4 locomotives soon for forever 😒😟😞

Meter Gauge is nostalgic. My first travel was from Anwarganz to Jaipur in 5313/5314 Marudhar Express. That time there were 2 loop lines in Rawatpur and skipping thru Rawatpur in main line was a unique experience. I really wish we can leave a few meter gauge route :(
